Beinn An Tuirc Distillers

Beinn An Tuirc, the highest hill on the Kintyre Peninsula, means ‘Hill of the Wild Boar’. Launched in 2017, the distillery aims to be Scotland’s most sustainable and community focussed spirit producer, drawing energy from the local hydro scheme, offsetting carbon emissions by planting trees and investing in local charities that support local enterprise.

Offshoot drew on local influences as wide-ranging as Viking and Norse culture, the local topography and the diverse recipe of botanical ingredients in developing the brand. Continued work will see a new digital platform, social media marketing and product packaging which uses a variety of new, organic and environmentally sound solutions.
