Showcasing Kintyre Pink Gin

Creating outstanding product packaging design takes more than a good eye for style or trends. It involves a good understanding of processes and materials and the support and feedback from expert suppliers.

Working with Multi-Colour UK we developed the label designs for Beinn an Tuirc Distiller’s newly released pink gin. These have been beautifully captured by photographer Paul Piper.

We transferred the key brand elements from Beinn an Tuirc’s signature gin and applied them to the design for this new spirit, contrasting the geographical contour lines with a dark charcoal background and accentuating the gold foil elements.

Inks react differently to different materials; MCC sourced an uncoated cotton stock with lots of texture and assisted us in achieving perfect colour balance in all the elements of the design.

It was important to create a rich, gender-neutral design that reflected the depth of the spirit’s flavours rather than the typically soft, feminine and floral designs which are often associated with pink gin.
